When you purchase a Scooter Fresh Store Protection Plan, you're covered against mechanical and electrical failure — so you can ride with confidence knowing we've got you covered.


What Is the Store Protection Plan?

The Scooter Fresh Store Protection Plan is an optional add-on purchased at the time of your product order. It is a store-backed service plan — not an insurance product — that entitles you to store credit equal to your original product purchase price in the event of a covered failure.


What's Covered

Your plan covers the following failures occurring under normal personal use during the plan term:

  • Motor failure
  • Electronic speed controller (ESC/controller) failure
  • Throttle failure
  • Display/console electrical failure
  • Wiring harness defects

What's Not Covered

The following are explicitly excluded from coverage:

  • Lithium battery degradation, capacity loss, or failure of any kind
  • Physical damage resulting from accidents, collisions, drops, or impacts
  • Water damage or damage from exposure to moisture
  • Cosmetic damage including scratches, dents, and worn finishes
  • Damage resulting from commercial use (including but not limited to food delivery, rental, or ride-share)
  • Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Normal wear and tear on consumable parts (tires, brake pads, chains)
  • Damage caused by improper storage, neglect, or misuse

Deductible & Claim Rules

  • A $50 deductible applies to all approved claims
  • Approved claims are settled via store credit only — no cash refunds or replacement units. Store credit is issued at the original purchase price of the covered product, minus the deductible
  • One claim per plan per product — once a claim is approved, the plan is considered fulfilled
  • Claims must be submitted within the active plan term — expired plans are not eligible
  • Scooter Fresh reserves the right to request additional documentation or deny claims that do not meet coverage criteria

How to File a Claim

  1. Visit our Protection Plan Claim page and submit the claim form
  2. Email photos or video evidence to support@scooterfresh.com with your order number in the subject line
  3. Our team will review your claim within 2–3 business days and notify you by email
  4. Approved claims receive store credit equal to your original product purchase price, minus the $50 deductible

Plan Terms

  • Coverage begins on the date of your product order
  • The plan term is either 1 Year or 2 Years from the date of purchase, as selected at checkout
  • Store credit is issued at the original purchase price of the covered product, not the current retail price
  • One claim per plan per product
  • This plan is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser
  • Protection Plan purchases are non-refundable. If a covered product is returned, the Protection Plan purchase is not eligible for refund and the plan is considered void upon product return.
  • This plan is not a warranty, insurance policy, or guarantee of any kind — it is a discretionary store service plan offered by Scooter Fresh
